Well I'm finally getting into the stitch of things. These are my knitted balls, in a set of three. Very popular at my stalls and a gorgeous soft toy for little ones. Even my Scout has been discovering hers, (her first play with a twigs toy!). Hoping to have quite a few of these at my next market on Sat 18th Sep, Papalya Children's Centre, at Erina on the Central Coast, or they can always be ordered.

Twigs- an ending and a fresh beginning
Hello everyone I'm laura, the other half of Twigs and now sadly the one and only.... It's been a crazy year so far with alot going on. On a sad ( and just a wee bit scary) note my beautiful friend and co creater of our line Twigs, Yasmine, has left Australia to move back to New Zealand. By all accounts she and her family have settled down over in 'windy Wellington' and are looking forward to the arrival of baby no 2 in the new year. Their decision to leave was an opportunity they couldn't resist, but who knows???? Twigs may go international one day, and if not, Yasmine and I will still continue to share our love of cute little 'finds' and research of great woollen items and fabrics so something may appear in my offerings at a later stage.
As for me... Not long ago now I gave birth to the most delightful baby girl. Little Scout has been a dream come true for Grant and I, and we are all settling into our little hub we like to call home very well. As you can imagine, Twigs has taken a bit of a back seat whilst this has all been going on, but, I am ready to venture out into the world of creativity once more, eagerly anticipating two up and coming markets on the Central Coast. Scout has been happily modelling my things and hopefully she will give me a chance to get cracking as stocks hit an all time low. At the moment t-shirts will be limited as I continue to research what is viable. Hoping to have many knitted balls and men ready as they are very popular as well as the 'rope families' and bibs.
